DAY 13 — Confession & Brokenness

Scripture:
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
— 1 John 1:7-9

Reflection:
Confession is not about shame—it’s about freedom. When we bring our sin, failures, and struggles into the light, God meets us with grace, forgiveness, and cleansing. Brokenness opens the door for healing and restoration.

Application:
  • Come Honestly Before God: Take time to quietly reflect. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything in your heart that needs to be surrendered.
  • Release It: Write down what you confess, then release it to God—trusting Him to forgive, cleanse, and restore you.

Quick Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and shortcomings to You. Thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness. Cleanse my heart and make me new. I receive Your freedom and grace today. Amen.”
